Transforming Lives, One Disciple at a Time

Jesus’ mission is clear: to make disciples who make disciples. Discipleship is about more than knowledge—it’s about transformation. It’s about being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what Jesus would do. Whether you’re a new believer or have walked with Christ for years, our groups provide the tools, support, and accountability you need to grow in Christlikeness.

“The Church exists for nothing else but to draw men/women into Christ, to make them into little Jesus’. If they are not doing that, all the cathedrals, clergy, missions, sermons, even the Bible itself, are simply a waste of time.” — C.S. Lewis

At Heirloom Church, we believe discipleship is not just a program — it’s a journey of transformation and multiplication. Rooted in Jesus’ command to "go and make disciples" (Matthew 28:19-20), our Discipleship Groups are designed to help you grow spiritually, deepen your relationship with Christ, and equip you to disciple others.

What Are Discipleship Groups?

Discipleship Groups (D-Groups) are small, gender-specific gatherings of 3-5 individuals who meet weekly over a 12-month period. These groups are designed for accelerated spiritual growth, focusing on:

  • Spiritual Disciplines: Engage in Bible reading, H.E.A.R. journaling, Scripture memory, and prayer.

  • Accountability: Build a safe space for honesty, confession, and encouragement.

  • Missional Living: Pray for and intentionally pursue "your one"—a person God has placed on your heart to lead toward Christ.

  • Reproducibility: Be equipped to lead others, creating disciples who make disciples.

“A disciple is not a person who has things under control or knows a lot of things. Disciples are people constantly revising their affairs to carry through on their decision to follow Jesus.” — Dallas Willard

Key Features of Discipleship Groups

  1. Scriptural: Dive deep into God’s Word using the H.E.A.R. method (Highlight, Explain, Apply, Respond). Prioritize Scripture memory to store God’s Word in your heart (Psalm 119:11).

  2. Missional: Identify and pursue "your one"—a person you are praying for, investing in, and inviting to follow Christ.

  3. Accountable: Experience the freedom that comes from confession and accountability. Our groups emphasize confidentiality, compassion, and mutual encouragement.

  4. Reproducible: The ultimate goal is multiplication. Learn how to “find your few” and prepare to lead your own D-Group after this season.

  5. Communal: Foster relationships through one-on-one connections, group masterclasses, and shared life experiences. Build a strong community of encouragement and support.
