Dakota Adair

Lead Pastor

Dakota’s story starts with a gift he didn’t ask for, a Bible from his grandmother that sat on a shelf for years. But when life got loud and questions got big, that Bible became a lifeline. One night in high school, he opened it, began to read, and found himself face-to-face with grace. Alone in his room, he knelt beside his bed and gave his life to Jesus. That night didn’t just change his plans—it changed his identity.

Since then, Dakota has been learning how God takes the broken pieces of our stories and builds something beautiful. He’s passionate about helping people see they’re not too far gone, that their past doesn’t disqualify them, and that Jesus really does make all things new. That’s why he planted Heirloom Church, to create a place where stories like his could find belonging, purpose, and redemption.

Maggie’s story looks different, but the same grace threads through it. Raised in a home that treasured Jesus, she developed a steady faith early on and a heart that quietly shines in how she loves and serves others. It was Maggie who invited Dakota to church for the first time, not knowing God would use that simple moment to change the direction of his life. Her presence, encouragement, and gift of hospitality help shape the life of their home and their church community.

Together, Dakota and Maggie are raising their two kids, Elijah and Lucy, and doing their best to live a life marked by grace and truth. Whether it’s sipping a Coke Zero, dancing in the living room, or dreaming together about what God might do next, they’re grateful for every messy, meaningful moment. Because for them, the story isn’t just about planting a church, it’s about living a legacy.
